Father-and-son team Paul and Simon Power provide a totally professional and accredited plumbing and heating service to clients throughout Oxfordshire and further afield if necessary.

Paul and Simon are both qualified plumbing and heating engineers. Indeed, Paul started out as an apprentice way back in 1977 and successfully completed that apprenticeship four years later; today he holds advanced City & Guilds accreditation. As he recollects: “I’ve always worked exclusively in this trade - never touched anything else. So in that sense my core skills have never been diluted or weakened by any kind of distraction from another line of work.
“Simon and I are proud of the personal and professional service we bring to any job. Where household gas is used for heating and cooking, safety is of course paramount. We are members of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers and registered with Gas Safe. That means that we are tested and re-assessed every five years to ensure that our safety standards are being maintained.” |
Paul and Simon are of course aware that problems can arise at any time, which is why they offer appropriate flexibility in their response schedules. Where the need is greatest, working late nights and during weekends is not a problem.
Another consideration that they feel strongly about is delivering value for money. In the current, particularly challenging economic climate, it’s more important than ever to keep costs down. As Paul says: “It’s true that we use only materials of the best quality, but we are always prepared to negotiate robustly with wholesale suppliers to get the best possible deal and pass these savings on to the customer.”
